Richmond Spirit Athletics

Spirit Fans,
The NCHE tournament at Greensboro College in North Carolina was great. The Varsity team started off a little rusty, but soon got it together and beat Durham 60 to 57. Cory led the team with 16 points, Seth and Luke had double digit points and the team had a total of 15 steals. It was great to start the season with a win.

Less than an hour later the boys played game 2 against Forsyth, who ended up winning the tournament. It was tough and our players were still wore out from their first game. Jake led the way with 16 points and Seth had 13 points and 10 rebounds, Luke had10 points but we ended up losing 76 to 55. On Saturday we played Surry Running Patriots. The boys played a good game and won68 to 63. Seth had 25 points and 11 rebounds Jake and Tommy had double digit points. It was a good weekend to start off the season and the team had a great time.
