Richmond Spirit wins at HSPN tournament

For the past 3 years we have been able to participate in the HSPN East Coast Championship Basketball tournment at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Liberty graciously allows HSPN to use their basketball courts and other facilities during Spring Break. What a great opportunity we have to play other homeschool teams from across the country. Teams come from TX, AL, FL,SC, NC, NY, MD, VA, GA, TN. Here are how our teams placed in the tournament. Our Girls varsity team, lead by Gary Thomson and Shane Brinson, finished 2nd in their group.
The Boys Middle School team, lead by Bill Seay and Mark Wagner, took home the 2nd place award.
Our JV Boys team took 3rd place in the top poll out of 12 teams. The team is lead by coach John Rutledge and assts. are Mark Wagner, Steve Condrey and our scorekeeper and AD Dave Hoopsick.
